During our Spiritual Gifts series we stressed the invitation from Jesus to personal holiness. The more we do not grieve the Holy Spirit the more He uses us, the more we will experience the power and presence of Jesus and live in more freedom. Some people love the 10 Commandments but for the wrong reasons. Some don’t like it because they love their sin more than they love God. Some people believe these commandments are outdated, not relevant for New Testament believers. We will study – 1) Why God gave them to us, 2) How it reveals God’s heart to us, 3) How it shows who we are 4) How Jesus not just fulfilled these commandments but transformed them 5) Because of Jesus we can now joyfully obey them and walk in freedom.
